One way to show your creative, fashionista side is with modern
shaped eyewear. These are such as geometric designs in thicker
and larger plastic frames. Many modern metal frames can also
be stylish and creative.
Many worry about their general outlook when they get glasses
prescription for the first time. The concern usually leans towards
the change this will cause to their appearance. Will they look
good and how will people adjust to this new look. Just because
you need to put on glasses does not mean you have to lose
yourself. Frames are now available in many shapes and colours
that allow all personalities to be represented. Today’s more
fashionable, larger-sized eyeglasses also are an option, as are
more unusual colours — such as blue, green and purple.
Multicoloured laminates are another possibility, as are flower
patterns and animal prints, as idris of Sharp Optics explained.
Morgenthal also recommends laser-cut details and finishes for
this style of frame because these touches are unusual and very
modern.
Another big fashion trend lately is retro or vintage styling. Look
for exaggerated takes on frame styles from the ‘70s and ‘80s
— such as oversized cat-eye and aviator shapes, as well as mod
looks from the ‘60s.
