As part of Crown Paints growth strategy in
the region, we have continuously invested
in setting up of ultra-modern showrooms
across theEast African region inanattempt
to refine paint taste for our consumers.
Each yearmodern showrooms are unveiled
to target sophisticated, quality-conscious
consumers particularly in the residential
and commercial property market. Crown
Paints CEO, Rakesh Rao, emphasized on
this stating, “We want to recruit and equip
customers, developers and the general
public with more knowledge about our
paints. Currently, the construction sector is
playing a vital role in registering substantial
growth in theKenyaneconomyand regional
markets.”
The CEO said that consumer behaviour
and tastes are also fast changing in the
market as developers and homeowners
are demanding textured and stone finishes
for their buildings. He said thatmaintaining
market leadership requires staying well-
informed on keymarket trends by ensuring
that customers’ needs are met; besides
provisionof valueadded throughconsumer-
drivenprocesses.
Establishment of showrooms across the
region in centrally located areas also offers
detailed informationonCrownPaints entire
line of paints. It also provides paint colour
selection tools, professional services and
educational programs. “Our showrooms
feature latest innovations in paints and
interior finishes while offering consumers
tips on enhancing building aesthetics
through use of quality products,” Mr. Rao
explained.
To realize growth and development across
the region, the CEO said there was need
to work closely with all stakeholders and
partners in ensuring that all showrooms
are a one-stop shop so that customers are
empowered with the right knowledge and
skills on colours. Building brand loyalty
requires ingenious practices that enhance
lifestyle transformation through use of
qualityproductsandservicesthatpromotes
environmental safetyanddurability.
This year, the firm’s growth agenda will be
focused on building a strong foundation
that cuts across the entire region to drive
excellence in organizational performance,
by integrating regional strategies to create
more value for all stakeholders. Mr. Rao

across the region is an initiativewhich aims
to enhance customers’ experience. The

across our showrooms allows customers to
‘splash’ different paint colours on a virtual
roomtherefore,allowingcustomerstomake
amore informedpurchase.
