CSR
Since its establishment, Crown Paints has
been initiating various CSR projects every
year as part of giving back to society and
appreciating the support accorded to the
company. A fewmonths ago, the firmspent
over Kshs. 500,000 in refurbishing the
Gigiri Police Station as part of its corporate
social responsibility programmes to include
healthyandcleanworkingenvironments.
According to the firm’s Chief Executive
Officer, Rakesh Rao, the proposal to repaint
the station’s exterior and interior surfaces
was inspired by Crown Paints’ desire to
transform the lifestyle and environment
around Gigiri Police Station. Despite the
police station being located in the suburbs
of the United Nations, the buildings were in
bad shape needing attention to be able to
resonatewiththesurroundingarea.

during the rainy season. While presenting
the umbrellas to the Nairobi County
commandant,Mr. Rao, applauded thepolice

engaging in a number of activities such as
