Welcome to this edition of Brushstrokes...
In this issue, we would like to talk about choices. The
choices wemake when we are surrounded by a plethora of
options especiallywhen it comes to products and services
that appear to be quite similar. It can be daunting indeed
when there are so many brands in the market that appear
to offer products that seemingly have the same features
and functionality. The range of colours are all there. The
surface textures and finishes are somewhat similar but
this is where there is a need to delve deeper. Sometimes
you will find that similar products are priced differently, so
how do you evaluate choice in this case? At Crown Paints,
we offer warrantees between 7 to 15 years on some of our
products! This means that if you spent even 20%more on
a Crown Paints product that will last you 10 years more
than a competing product, you will find that the Crown
product has given far more value for money; something
that is important to us.
With our new partnership withWacker Chemie plc, a world
leader in silicone based products; we bring to you the first
of its kind in Kenya - ‘Permacote Ultraguard Silicone’.
Silicone helps the product to be strong and to withstand
all extreme weather conditions.
Our concept of ‘value’ also extends to making our product
available easily and cost effective to other markets
in the East African region. Towards this, we have now
established a base in Rwanda with an ultra-modern paint
showroom in Kigali.
Our commitment to give the best solutions to our
customers was recently endorsed by the Kenya Institute
of Management that bestowed the prestigious CEO of The
Year (COYA) Award to Rakesh Rao, our Group CEO. Crown
became the first paint company in Kenya to win this
prestigious Leadership, Management and Productivity
Award.
