Brushstrokes Issue 7 - page 5

January 2014
5
Since the last publication in June, the activity of Crown and
its customers has been unrelenting. We have shared views,
exchanged information, and encountered many at several
customer functions to allow a free transfer of Technology
Data, Opinions and Facts. This is because despite what the
International Community may burden with us, and whether some
other groups try to impose on us a radical way of life Kenya, and
the region will continue to develop.
Like the world over, we continue to seek improvement and be
winners, there will however always be the cheats who waste
their talent. The world of counterfeit products has become a
battleground everywhere, no industry appears to be sacred. The
criminal mind has learnt how to replicate exactly products which
lead and therefore enjoy maximum confidence and trust. They
even have business models, and price at levels which don’t cause
ripples but maximise their profits.
We have addressed the problem and used security seals to
protect our customer profile from proffessional architects to the
user. The brand must be protected, and hence protect everyone
else within the Crown distribution chain. Our model protects you
and us, its designed that the only crown available is the genuine
one.
That apart, Crown has continued to bring to the market
products which increase our lead in Technology, whether
via International partners or by dint of our own Research &
Development Enterprise. In issue 5, we carried a blow by blow
account of how ‘Timonox’ was the product to reduce the rate
of spread of flame and provide for safer escape from fire.
What happened at JKIA was unfortunate, but with the use of
Timonox it may have been possible to have greatly reduced the
impact and hence the organisational mayhem which followed.
The eradication of disease is mostly by injection or taking of
prescribed prescriptions, prevention is better than the cure but
still everyone wants to gamble. Seat belts are now accepted, its
standard practice to wear them, do we need laws to fire protector
public buildings or laws to insist hospitals prevent both fire and
bacteria. At the beginning of October, we launched probably the
most exciting products in a generation-Armourcoat. A world
niche brand leader in polished plaster and sculptures; Amourcoat
brings Paris, New York, London and Rome directly to us.
Purely by innovation; Crown
has brought modernity
to every property big or
small. As ever Brushstrokes
provides information
on what’s new, then our
showroom programme
brings it closer to your
personal locality.
