I am delighted to introduce you to this edition
of Brushstrokes. I am really encouraged
by your feedback and the editorial team is
always keen to receive your reviews and
comments in every issue.
As the new kid on the block, I have taken over
the editorial role and I am ready to fill my
predecessor’s shoes.
As a company, we have witnessed positive
growth in our past financial year. We not
only recorded financial growth but we also
increased our product offerings, through
the introduction of latest brands such as
“Elephant skin finish”, which is under the
Metallica range of finishes. We also have
the Armourcoat range of finishes for all
perceived as Royal, partnerships with the
best in the market such as Pidilite for Fevicol
and Dr. Fixit and much more. We attribute
such successes to the relentless efforts of
the R&D team who are always looking to
provide the best there can be. In less than
a year, Crown Paints has launched several
decorative paints and coatings to be used
on interior and exterior walls of all kinds
including industrial, institutional,
commercial and residential buildings.
Apart from their use to enhance the
face-value of an architectural structure,
these paints and coatings also have
some protective features that will help
in protecting architectural structures,
especially their exteriors, from natural
extremes of rains, wind and sun.
Considering that paints and coatings are
either professionally applied by contractors
or by the end-user customers, we have set
up a DIY section in our new showrooms
(Nairobi, Mombasa and Nakuru). This is a
section where the end-users can learn how
to apply paint on their own. The demand for
DIY paints is especially high across regions
such as Latin America, Middle East and
the Asia-Pacific.
Without further ado, I would like to
appreciate all colleagues involved in
compiling this issue and welcome you
all to an enjoyable read.
If you like it, Crown it!
