Redecorate Your Home This Diwali

Diwali will soon be here and the festival of lights not only brings lots of sweets and fireworks but also a reason to refurnish your home to look grand and festive.

  1. Paint your home

Wanting to paint your home? Well, here’s your excuse. The festival of lights has everyone lighting up their homes and showcasing their absolute best. So why not paint your home the colour of your dreams?  Choose from our Crown Colour Guide and find the perfect hue for your home exterior.

  1. Create an accent wall

You don’t necessarily have to paint your entire home, simply offset the neutral walls with a vibrant accent wall. Create some brightness by painting one wall in colours like orange, purple, green, deep red, magenta, dark blue and even coffee shades of brown.

If you are going for a monochromatic theme, go for colours like champagne, iris and sapphire. Once you have your accent wall colour chosen, you can also choose complimenting interior design for your furniture and accessories.

  1. Stencils and decals

Accent walls are not for everyone, therefore to still make your wall stand out, we  use stencils instead to create something out of the ordinary. Festive stencil designs include diya lamps, plants, Hindu gods and goddesses or even rangoli-inspired patterns. Alternatively, easy-to-apply wall decals are also a popular embellishment for plain walls.

  1. Textured Walls

Textured walls are a great way to switch up your interior in time for Diwali. Our Crown Italia range of finishes, the Italia Uno (stone textured wall paint), Italia Uno+ (metallic stone textured paint), Italia Due (duotone metallic textured wall paint) and Italia Wow (Snow textured paint enhancer), are a perfect way to add a festive look to your home.

Beyond these four ways, how do you decorate your home for Diwali?
