Crown Paints is always looking for ways to improve their services and meet customer demands. It is in line with all this that Crown Paints has launched 3 new products to target the premium consumer market. The three new products as well as Medcryl Silk Emulsion (an innovative anti-bacterial paint launched in April) are all water based and conform to the company’s environmental strategy.
Speaking at the launch, Crown Paints CEO Rakesh Rao notes that the company has recorded significant growth in sales in the recent months. Premium category now accounts for a bigger chunk of sales.
The first product announced at the launch is Crown Metallica. An interior only product comprising gold and silver hues. This metallic finish delivers a design-inspired interior and urban luster.
Crown Aquavar also joins the new product line. It is an odorless water-based varnish paint. It conveys a translucent sheen and features UV resistors. The UV resistors are helpful in preventing timber surfaces from bleaching.
The third product to be launched is the Crown Gyplast. It is Kenya’s first locally manufactured gypsum plaster and will target the construction sector. Being high grade gypsum plaster that improves the workability and compressive strength of plaster on newly constructed gypsum structures it will best be used on ceilings and partitions.
The launch of the new products is expected to raise sales by as much as 7.5%
