Join the Crown Painters Club

Crown-Paints-Kenya-Ltd, Painters Training, DECORATIVE PAINT TRAINING, painters clubA bad workman blames his tools” so the saying goes. It is obviously not enough to have great tools if the workman is not as adept in his skills. In an initiative to empower local painters, Crown Paints has launched Chezea Timu Kubwa program

As part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibilty Programmes, this course will offer continous technical and entrepreneurial training to painters country-wide.

Objectives

This program seeks to improve finishing standards in Kenya’s booming building industry by creating and availing a pool of certified, highly skilled and reliable painters. This pool will also be equiped with entrepreneurial skills to help them better run their painting businesses and thereby positively impact the country’s economic development. Painters being an important link in Crown’s value chain, the program will seek to grow their knowledge of Crown’s products and enhance the quality of work they deliver. Crown paints and the painters will not be the only beneficiaries of this initiative; home owners and building contractors too can also trust the quality of work that these certified painters will deliver.

Participation

Starting September 17, 2012 interested painters can register for admission to this program by sending a text message with the word PAINTER, full name, ID number and location to the short code 5336.

If you are a painter, this is your opportunity to take your trade to the next level. Upon completing this course, you will earn the priviledge of joining an elite club of crown certified painters. As a member of this club, you will not only be better placed to land more high calibre jobs but you will also learn from and contribute to the experiences of fellow club members.
